You can download a bill, and you cannot get an official Chinese tax invoice. Download the invoice from the member center on the website. VilaVPN operates in Japan, so it cannot issue an official Chinese tax invoice. In the app, bills are under Invoices in the navigation menu. Except on iOS, an unpaid bill has Pay Invoice, which opens the payment page in a browser.
A Chinese tax invoice, and the file from the member center
When you need the bill as a file, sign in to the member center on the website and download it there.
An official Chinese tax invoice cannot be issued. The reason is that the operator is in Japan, not that one bill is still unpaid.
The bill list in the app
Open Invoices from the navigation menu.
- Filter by status: All, Unpaid, Paid, Overdue, Cancelled, Refunded.
- Each card shows the bill number, the date it was created, a status label, the total, the balance due, and the due date.
- Tap a bill for the full detail.
- Pull down to refresh the list.

After you open one bill
- Full status, total, balance, credit, subtotal, and tax.
- Dates: issue date, due date, and payment date.
- Line items, each with a description and an amount.
- Transactions: payment amount, payment method, date, and transaction ID.
- Notes on the bill.
- When the bill is unpaid, a Pay Invoice button appears, except on iOS. It opens the payment page in a browser. How to pay on that page is in How do I pay with Alipay or another method shown at checkout?.
- View in Browser opens this bill in a web browser.
On iOS, the App Store manages payment, so Pay Invoice is not shown. View in Browser does not have that exception. If you paid in the App Store or Google Play and the plan does not show, see Why doesn't my plan show after paying in the App Store or Google Play?.
How to tell you found the right place
For a Chinese tax invoice: the file from the member center is the bill, not a Chinese tax invoice. In the app: Invoices opens from the navigation menu, and the filters and card fields match the list above. When a bill is unpaid and the device is not iOS, Pay Invoice is visible and opens a browser payment page. It does not charge inside the app.
