Installation program did not run successfully

This error usually occurs because there are old versions of the client remaining in the system

 

Please uninstall and then try to install again

 

Windows 10/11

Follow these steps, but note that the instructions for uninstalling the software depend on the software itself (not Windows 10):

 

Click "Start."

Select "All apps."

Look for the application or program you want to uninstall.

Right-click on the application/program and then click "Uninstall" (if you don't see "Uninstall," it may be the default application).

Windows 8/8.1

Follow these steps, but note that the instructions for uninstalling the software depend on the software itself (not Windows 8/8.1):

 

Press the Windows key or hover the cursor over the small icon of the "Start" screen in the lower left corner of the screen until the icon appears, then click on it to switch to the "Start" screen.

Find the application you want to uninstall and then right-click on its icon. A checkmark will appear in the upper right corner, indicating that the application is selected.

Click "Uninstall" on the toolbar displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Windows 7

Follow these steps, but note that the instructions for uninstalling the software depend on the software itself (not Windows 7):

 

Click the "Start" button to open the "Start" menu.

When the "Start" menu opens, right-click on the "Control Panel" menu option.

When the "Control Panel" window opens, click the "Uninstall a program" option under the "Programs" category.

Select the program you want to uninstall from the list displayed.

Windows Vista

Follow these steps, but note that the instructions for uninstalling the software depend on the software itself (not Windows Vista):

 

Click "Start" and then type "Programs and Features."

Click "Programs and Features."

When the "Uninstall or change a program" window appears, click to select the program you want to uninstall or change.

Click "Uninstall/Change." Depending on the program's features, the button text may also appear as "Uninstall," "Change," or "Repair." If "Change" or "Repair" is not shown for a particular program, it may not offer those options
