Yes, your traffic allowance can be used for Netflix, Disney+, HBO, and similar services. Playback depends on the server. Use the official VilaNet app, and try Japan, the United States, or Hong Kong first. An ordinary server may be region-locked, play at a lower quality, or not play. Connected does not prove the video will play. Test the exact title. Not every server unlocks every service.
| What you want to know | What to do |
|---|---|
| Can the allowance be used for video? | Yes. What varies is the server and whether that service is unlocked at the time |
| Which server first? | Japan, the United States, or Hong Kong in official VilaNet |
| It used to play and now spins | Usually a temporary upstream unlock-rule failure, not a broken account or used-up allowance |
Try it on a phone or computer
- Use official VilaNet. Do not judge the service from a different client.
- Open Server Nodes and choose a Japan, United States, or Hong Kong server. See how to choose a server.
- Refresh the server list in the app and reconnect.
- Fully quit the streaming app and open it again, so it drops its own cached lookup.
- Play the exact title. Starting the app is not the test.
On a TV
Install official VilaNet on the TV, or put the TV behind a supported router that is running VilaNet. Whether a service plays can change with the service, the region, and the time.
- Use the matching install guide: Android TV, Apple TV, or a supported OpenWrt or Merlin router.
- Install VilaNet and sign in with that guide.
- Where the platform offers automatic selection, start there. If the TV guide asks for a specific server, choose the location you need.
- Connect VilaNet and confirm ordinary traffic on the TV works.
- Open the streaming app and test the exact episode or live channel.

How to tell it worked
VilaNet stays Connected, ordinary internet on that device works, and the chosen title starts playing.
Still not working?
- Nothing loads: disconnect once, confirm ordinary internet works, then read Connected but no internet.
- Other apps work and one service does not: write down the service, the server, the full message, and the title you tested. Try Fastest under Auto-Select once, or one other region. Prefer Japan, the United States, or Hong Kong.
- It used to play and now spins, or it stopped after the streaming app updated: quit and reopen the app, refresh servers, and try another region. If it still fails, send support the service name, your region or carrier, and the server name so they can pass it to the upstream unlock service. This is usually not the account or the allowance.
- Playback is slow: compare the same title while disconnected, then read Slow or unstable connection.
